Consensus nears completion!
We are delighted to announce the completion of our first published paper, a comprehensive, evidence based series of recommendations on the application of negative pressure wound therapy to acute and traumatic wounds, published as a special supplement to the February issue of INJURY. This is the result of 18 months work, and we are delighted with the results.
The abstract can be viewed and the full supplement can be purchased through this link: http://www.injuryjournal.com/issues.
We hope to summarise the main findings on this site.
This is the first of 3 papers that we intend to publish this year. The next paper, on Treatment Variables, should be published in June, and the final paper, on Chronic Wounds, will be published shortly afterwards.
We hope that these papers will allow clinicians all over the world to have a starting point when considering the application of this important therapy to their patients.
You will also see a fully comprehensive series of the latest news, links and developments in NPWT in our latest news section on this site. I encourage you to read it
